Jennifer Drake Patrick is currently affiliated with George Mason University as a consultant for the Operation Educate the Educators program, an effort to educate preservice teachers about the culture of military-connected children. She has also worked as an Assistant Professor in the Literacy Program in the George Mason University School of Education. She earned her Ph.D. in 2009 from The University of Florida. Her research interests include professional development and disciplinary literacy.
