Jordan is currently a third-year Ph.D. student studying Educational Psychology at George Mason University. Jordan holds a bachelor’s degree in Life-Science Education and master’s degree in Sport Psychology from Miami University of Ohio. As a prior NCAA D-1 collegiate Track & Field coach, Jordan utilized his background in science education to create an instructional method of sport coaching called Kinesthetic Inquiry, an interactive framework for coaching based on the educational method of Science Inquiry. Jordan’s research interests are at the intersection between Sport Psychology and Educational Psychology, and focuses on applications of Self-Regulated Learning theory for both students and athletes, teaching in the Sport Psychology classroom, and the role of science education methods toward the development of physical and mental skills in sport./p>
